Each textile creation by MiniTipi carries the history of their founders, a blend of their three Quebecois, Canadian, and Indigenous cultures. This soft and warm blanket by NikkiShawana displays several traditional symbols that illustrate human’s connection to the universe. It’s perfect for evenings outdoors or lounging on the sofa. The Indigenous artist incorporated protective stars to the accessory in honour of her nancy-baa (grandmother). The Haudenosaunee domes surrounding them pay tribute to her Mohawk husband. Delicate Anichinaabes floral patterns complete the artwork enhanced with a rich fringed border.
