Note that the first wash will bring out light wrinkles in the seams, which is a feature common to all quilts. If you prefer an unwrinkled appearance, you use it as a simple decorative piece to avoid washing it.
With a background in fashion and design, and inspired by the immense know-how of her mother, a dedicated craftsman, Shayla Bond has moved away from the digital world in which she had been working for the past decade to focus on creating a more tangible connection to her work. She now imagines and creates textile pieces that combine tradition and modernity with an authentic touch.
