Founded in 1968 by Gerolamo Etro, the Milanese fashion house was established as a fabric manufacturer before becoming a ready-to-wear label emblematic of Italian luxury. Known for its expertise with prints, Etro has consolidated its eclectic aesthetics around the paisley (or Kashmir) pattern that it revisits every season. The label uses its craftsmanship to create colourful narratives that draw on valuable textile archives. Since 2022, Marco De Vincenzo has provided artistic direction and he continues the tradition of a shimmering and somewhat bohemian creative mosaic.
