French ready-to-wear label Drôle deMonsieur was founded in 2014 by friends Dany DosSantos and Maxime Schwab, who felt like outsiders in the Paris fashion scene. The self-taught designers turned that mindset into their slogan, featured on their effortlessly wearable pieces. Blending the retro aesthetic of the ’70s with the rise of ’90s streetwear and hip-hop culture in France, the label delivers a blend of influences that defines every garment.
