Each Mini Tipi design is the fruit of blending the three cultures (Quebecer, Canadian and Indigenous) of company founders Trisha Pitura and Mélanie Bernard.
The ethereal beauty and ephemeral nature of the northern lights have fascinated Indigenous peoples for generations. Over time, many beliefs have been associated with this spectacular phenomenon. According to one of them, the aurora is a manifestation of their ancestors, celebrating life, reminding their descendants that they are all part of the creation. It would be the elements, their energy, and their spirituality that fill the sky and dance, colouring it.
